EPFO Interest Rate Hike: Tuesday is going to be a good day for the active members of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). The two-day meeting of the Organization (EPFO) has ended. In this meeting, the interest rate on Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for the year 2022-23 has been announced. The government has fixed the interest rate on EPF at 8.15 per cent for the financial year 2022-23, which was 8.10 per cent last year.

In fact, the revised rates have been announced after the conclusion of the two-day meeting of the Central Board of Trustees (CBT) of EPFO that began on Monday (March 27).
The EPFO meeting was chaired by Union Minister for Labor and Employment Bhupendra Yadav. There are nearly 5 crore EPF subscribers in the country, who have directly benefited from the CBT’s decision to hike the interest rate of EPFO for 2022-23.
