Wheat inflation increased tension

  • The inflation of food items may have come down, but the inflation of other things including spices and wheat remains a cause of tension. Inflation in wheat is 18.54 percent while it was 11.03 percent in February 2022.
  • The inflation rate of milk is in double digit i.e. 10.33 per cent, which was 1.87 per cent in February last year.
