NIA Recruitment 2023 for Consultant: The Chandigarh branch office of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued a circular saying that retired police officers can work as investigative experts (consultants) in the NIA.
Apart from police officers, retired officers of central and state governments have been called for walk-in interviews. The agency has three posts of Investigation Specialist (Consultant), the posting will be in Chandigarh only. Inspector, DSP, SP and retired officers of same rank in central police organizations can apply for these posts.
Also retired officers from CBI, NCB, IB, Cabinet Secretariat, NTRO, Customs, Income Tax, DRI can also apply for this job. Applicant’s age should be less than 65 years. In addition, the applicant should have at least 10 years of experience in criminal matters, intelligence or counter-terrorism.

Applicants can reach the NIA office at Burail Jail, Sector 51 along with the documents on 22nd and 23rd May at 11.00 am for walk-in-interview. This circular has been issued by SP Dinesh Garg of NIA branch office.
