Gold prices crossed Rs 61,000, silver also shined

Gold Silver Price today: Gold prices have recovered once again. Gold futures on MCX are trading above Rs 100 to Rs 61,000 per 10 grams. Earlier on Tuesday, gold June futures crossed Rs 61,000 per 10 gram for the first time on the MCX.

Gold created a new record

Gold futures touched an all-time high of Rs 61,145 per 10 grams on Tuesday. On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, there was no morning business at the exchange on Tuesday, but gold set a new record when the exchange opened in the evening. After this new record, gold futures closed at Rs 60,954 per 10 grams on Tuesday. On April 5, gold futures opened around their closing levels and are once again bullish.

Silver also at new heights

There is also a tremendous rise in the prices of silver. Silver has hit a new lifetime high of Rs 75175 per kg, while May silver futures are currently above Rs 75000 per kg, up by Rs 450 per kg. On Tuesday, silver futures closed at Rs 74,618 per kg.

Gold is also shining in the international market

Let’s look at the prices of gold in the domestic market as well as in the international market. Here too, gold crossed a 13-month high of $2040 an ounce. Silver is also above $25, its 1-year high.

In the international market, gold closed above $2,000 per ounce for the first time since March 2022. Gold hit an all-time high of $2,075.47 an ounce in August 2020, and is currently trading around the same. If the economic data continues to support the same, the gold record may also be broken.
