Farmers surrounded the car of Aam Aadmi Party MLA Dr Kashmir Singh Sohal in Punjab’s Tarn Taran. The incident took place on Saturday evening. He was returning after meeting party workers in the area when the incident took place. The situation became that he had to leave his car at the spot and leave it in another car in the security perimeter.
This case is of village Gohalvad of Tarn Taran. Dr. Sohal was returning after meeting the party worker with his supporters. Suddenly, the farmers reached the village of Gohalwad with the flags of the Joint Front and started raising slogans against the AAP government. Farmers surrounded Dr. Sohal’s car.
The police immediately took stock of the situation and stopped the farmers. Dr. Sohal sat in the car for some time. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the security personnel surrounded them and took them out of the car. After which Dr. Sohal left for his residence in another car.
Farmers say that the ‘AAP’ government had promised to end drug addiction as soon as it came to power. There was a promise that drug addiction would be eradicated in four months. But even today drugs are being sold openly. Instead of disappearing, the drug has now reached every home.
After this incident, Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia has surrounded the AAP government. He tweeted that the AAP MLA of Tarn Taran was strongly opposed by the people and he had to leave his car and run away. In just one year of the ‘AAP’ government, there have been many occasions when government officials have had to face public anger.

Majithia said that this is not the last time because the promises made by the AAP party to the people have not been fulfilled. Due to which AAP ministers and MLAs are facing opposition from the people.
