Express recruitment at the Ministry of Shipping: “Pilots” are wanted in the Greek islands

With a decision published in the Government Gazette and signed by the acting Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy, Mr. Theodoros Kliaris, it is announced that recruitment emergency naval personnel, to cover emergency service needs of Nautical Stations.

Particularly, the Ministry of Shipping announces the recruitment 13 peopleas temporary naval personnel with a fixed-term Private Law employment relationship (I.D.O.X.), for a period of up to 8 monthswith the aim of meeting the emergency navigation needs of ships at the Navigation Stations of the country for their smooth operation.

The above temporary naval personnel are distributed, by specialty and by Naval Station, as follows:

Submission of participation applications

Candidates who possess the qualifications described in detail in the announcement may submit an application with the relevant supporting documents, according to the model attached to the relevant decision, in person, either with legally authorized to this end, person, to the relevant Port Authority on working days and at times specified in the relevant notice issued by each Port Authority. The submission of the application can also be done by post, according to the proson, by registered letter to the relevant Port Authority Navigation Station.
