Unmanned Air Traffic Management System Unveil: Drone company Sky Air Mobility has introduced an unmanned traffic management system that will alert all drones and drone operators on the spot, facilitate automated navigation and risk assessment.
Union Road and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari unveiled the ‘Sky UTM’ system. For your information, let us tell you that the cloud-based air traffic management system has so far supported more than 300 successful BVLOS (beyond visual line) drone flights.
Sky Air Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ankit Kumar said that this system will prove to be revolutionary and it will alert both the regulator and the pilot (driver) on the spot.
On the occasion of Sky UTM launch, Nitin Gadkari emphasized on implementing new technologies in construction, infra and highway sector. He told, it is time for Indian drone start-ups to lead the industry like software.
