Why did Dravid get the responsibility of the head coach again?
BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah also thanked Rahul Dravid for staying with Team India. Jai Shah said that Dravid’s tenure has been excellent. In the World Cup, Team India proved its ability by winning 10 matches in a row and Rahul Dravid played a big role in this. Jai Shah said that due to this performance, Rahul Dravid deserves to be the head coach again. The BCCI president also said that Rahul Dravid will be given all possible help to move forward.
Big challenge in front of Rahul Dravid
How long Rahul Dravid’s contract as head coach has been extended has not been disclosed but it is clear that he has a big challenge ahead of him. In fact, the T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in June next year and once again the onus will be on Dravid to end Team India’s ICC trophy drought.
