The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously striving for the development and progress of the state. To fulfill this purpose, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. A meeting was held in Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 at Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Baljit Kaur regarding the construction of Social Justice Department Building-cum-Convention Center at Mohali.

The Cabinet Minister gave more information and said that during the meeting various important initiatives were discussed including the construction of Social Justice Department building-cum-convention center in Mohali. The construction of this building will serve as a focal point for administrative activities and convention functions, which will contribute to the overall development and progress of the state.

The Minister further informed that Director Social Justice, Director SCSP, SC Corporation, B.C. Corporation, SC Commission, B.C. It is proposed to construct an office building of the Commission, Punjab State Sanitary Workers Commission and a convention center with offices. It will include a large statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar, museum, conference hall, auditorium, library, canteen and guest house etc.

The minister said that the aim of the Punjab government is to create an environment conducive to progress, empowerment and social justice. These initiatives reflect the unwavering commitment of the government to uplift the marginalized sections of the society and promote equality. The Department of Social Justice building-cum-convention center coming up in Mohali marks another important step towards achieving these objectives.

On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Rames Kumar Genta, Director Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Department Davinder Singh, Director-cum-Joint Secretary Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Department Raj Bahadur Singh, Housing and Urban AS Tiwana from Development Department Gamada and Senior Architect Saroj were specially present.
