Expatriate citizens of Balochistan staged a protest against Pakistan outside the White House in Washington. One of the protesters, former speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Waheed Baloch, said that they were protesting the atrocities committed in Balochistan in the last 75 years. He said that we have come here to protest in support of those Baloch families, who were abducted and disappeared. Waheed Baloch said that Pakistan has forcibly occupied Balochistan.
Elections are not fair in Pakistan
When he was asked about the general elections in Pakistan, he said that there is no hope of elections as there has never been a free and fair election. He said, they have no hope for Balochistan, they only re-elect their candidates. It is unconstitutional and undemocratic.
Protesters said that Pakistan has lied every time, protestors rejected Pakistan's claim saying that Pakistan has lied before and is lying again. They (Pakistan) only say that Balochis are sponsored by Indian government, but they never produced any evidence, this is totally wrong.
India's support to Balochistan
He said that if India is supporting Balochistan, it is just a distraction. Sindhi Foundation member Sufi Laghari said that Pakistan's biggest failure is that it always blames India. These are useless weapons they are using.
