Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not appear before the investigating agency ED today for questioning in the liquor policy case. According to sources, he will hold a rally in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The ED had summoned Kejriwal to appear for questioning on October 30.

In this regard, Kejriwal sent a reply to ED at around 9 am this morning saying that this notice is illegal and motivated by politics. Kejriwal said that this notice has been sent at the behest of the BJP to prevent them from going for election campaign in four states.

ED should withdraw this notice. Kejriwal was interrogated by CBI for about 9.5 hours in April in the liquor policy case. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and AAP MP Sanjay Singh are in jail in the liquor policy case.
