Mann said that when the DGP informed him in February about Amritpal and his supporters bringing the effigy of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in a palanquin in front of Ajnala police station, he strictly instructed the DGP not to ride the Guru Sahib no matter what. should be Be a splash of water. He said that even on March 18, Amritpal could have been arrested but shots had to be fired, so the Punjab Police used a lot of restraint. He also reprimanded the Punjab Police for this entire operation.

I assure the people of Punjab that maintaining law and order and peace is the responsibility of the Aam Aadmi Party government and we will continue to fulfill this duty. Some people tried to provoke the youth of Punjab, then the youth picked up the gun, but the people of Punjab supported. Earlier Punjab had seen dark days but now Punjab will progress.
