CM Mann tightens the grip on Pearl Company

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today speaking against the company, which has usurped crores of rupees, said that the company has usurped crores of rupees from lakhs of people. He said that the company has a lot of property in Punjab. Due to this, the state government will legally take over the property of the Pearl Company by removing all the difficulties. In this regard, CM Mann gave information by tweeting.

CM Mann said that a way will be found to return the people the entire amount that they have grabbed after taking over the property of the Pearl Company. In this regard, he has announced to give detailed information soon.

Earlier, the Punjab government has also conducted a high level inquiry into the matter. The information to be investigated by C.M. Bhagwant Mann himself gave it. He had asked to issue orders for a high-level investigation into the chit fund company Pearl, which has created billions of immovable assets by looting the hard earned money of the people of Punjab.

About 9 months ago, he had asked to give information in this matter. In Punjab, about 10 lakh people are said to be victims of Pearl Group fraud.

Earlier, according to the sources, it was revealed that the Punjab government would cooperate with the Lodha Committee appointed by the Supreme Court in this matter. Under this, the matter of returning the money to the investors by selling the property of Pearl Group came to light. It is worth mentioning that about one and a half lakh investors approached the Lodha Committee and after that the committee asked the Punjab government to auction the property of Pearl Group.

The Pearl Group is alleged to have made investments in the group from around 5.50 crore people in the country. Earned about 60 thousand crores from this, but the money was stolen by the company by giving fake allotment letters to the investors.

Earlier, while being a Member of Parliament from Sangrur Lok Sabha seat, he had raised the matter of Pearl Group’s fraud in Parliament. Ever since Mann became the Chief Minister, people have been hoping to get their money back. Along with this, the accused owner of Pearl Group, Nirmal Singh Bhangu, was arrested by the government in January.
