Bhagwant Mann claimed that the government will spend a quarter of 9 crore rupees annually. Mann said that the families of those jawans who get injured in any other accident will be given financial assistance of 25 lakh rupees. He said that instead of 20 lakhs, 40 lakh rupees will be given as assistance to the soldiers who are 70 to 100 percent injured in the war. Apart from this, financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh will be given instead of Rs 10 lakh to soldiers who are injured from 51 to 75 percent. Apart from this, the widows of freedom fighters will be given a pension of Rs 10,000 per month instead of Rs 6,000.

The Chief Minister said that the soldiers who sacrificed for the country will always be remembered. Shaheed Bhagat Singh was hanged at the age of 23 but is still alive in our hearts. Mann said that the specialty of the army is that it never leaves the families of martyred soldiers alone. Always stays with them.

A Military Welfare Board is also established. We have many departments that can release funds to families of military personnel defending the country. On this day, the tricolor was hoisted on Tiger Hill.

Today, the flame that is lit at the war memorial is not oil, but the blood of the martyrs.
