Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has expressed grief over the train accident in Odisha’s Balasore. He said he was saddened by the news of this unfortunate accident. He has expressed his sympathy by tweeting.

While tweeting, CM Mann wrote that hundreds of people have lost their lives in this train accident. He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. CM Mann prayed to God for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident. All the political party leaders of Punjab have expressed their sympathy on this train accident.

Let us tell you that last evening at around 6.51 pm in Balasore, Odisha, Coromandel Express collided with a goods train near Bahnaga station. Both the trains overturned after the collision. In this painful accident, 237 people have died so far while 900 people are said to be injured.

For the rescue operation, teams of local police, railway police along with NDRF, district administration team are also on the spot. Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena said that around 50 ambulances have been deployed to transport people but due to the large number of injured, a bus is also being mobilized to take them to the hospital.
