Chandigarh: In the 10th result announced by the Punjab School Education Board, only girls have made a bet, on this occasion an important announcement has been made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Faridkot district is on the first and second place and Mansa district is on the third place. Maan has also congratulated all the passed children and parents-teachers. Maan said that as promised, my congratulations and best wishes to the top children, as per the promise, the prize money of 51 thousand rupees will be given to the top children. Bhagwant Mann congratulated the meritorious students who passed the examination and wished them all the best for their future.

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and MLA Gurdit Sindh Sekhon have also congratulated all the students on this occasion.

Gagandeep Kaur of Faridkot has secured the first position among the declared results of 10th. While Navjot Kaur of Faridkot has secured the second position and Harmandeep Kaur of Mansa has secured the third position.

Gagandeep Kaur of Faridkot has topped the state with 100 percent by taking 650 marks out of 650. Apart from this, Navjot Kaur of Faridkot secured the second position with 648 marks with 99.69 percent and Harmandeep Kaur of Mansa secured the third position with 646 marks with 99.38 percent.

This time the total result of class 10 was 97.54 percent. The pass percentage of government schools was 97.76 and the result of private schools was 97%. 98.46 percent of girls and 96.73 percent of boys have passed the 10th standard.

Pathankot district has the highest pass percentage at 99.19% while Barnala has the lowest at 95.96%. Students can check their result with the help of official website. The Punjab Board released the 10th class result today. The pass percentage in English subject is 99.22 which is slightly higher than the pass percentage of 99.1% in Punjabi subject.

PSEB has also released the topper list along with the 10th result. This year the pass percentage of transgender students is 100%. A total of three transgender students appeared for the exam and all have passed.
