The Cabinet Minister said that so far about 15 lakh certificates have been given to the citizens through mobile. He said that S. on mobile. M. S. 16 types of certificates are being sent through, including birth certificate, death certificate, rural area certificate, income certificate, marriage certificate, income and assets certificate, residence certificate, SC/ BC/ OB. .C./ General Certificate, Old Age Pension, Disability Pension, Widow/ Destitute Women Pension, Pension for Dependent Children and Senior Citizen I.D. cards are included.

Gone are the days when huge files used to move from one table to another in government offices without any tracking, status checking and time limits for making certificates, he said. The e-service portal esewa.punjab.gov.in has solved all such issues and processing of applications has been speeded up without transferring the file from one place to another. The number of e-service pending cases is less than 0.25 percent.

More than 430 services available on e-service portal
Mr. Girish Dayalan, Director of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance Redressal Department, said that the e-service portal is being developed by a team of 40 software engineers and other technical experts of the department and it is being run smoothly. More than 430 services are being provided through this portal.

So far more than 3 crore applications have been processed using this portal and more than 6000 users are using this system including DC. Office, SDM Office, Tehsil Office, SMO Office, EOMC Office, DSSO Includes officers/employees of offices, agriculture department offices, private hospitals and service centers.
