Of those who decided to use the tool to write love letters, 27 percent said it would make them (the love letter sender) feel more confident (27%), while 21 percent said it would save them time. and 21 percent cited a lack of motivation, while 10 percent said it would simply be faster and easier and they didn’t think the recipient of the letter would know.
The report went on to add another interesting finding that two-thirds of all adults surveyed (69 percent) could not tell the difference between a love letter written by an AI and a love letter written by a human. In fact, a surprising 65 percent of them preferred the machine-generated letter.
The report also raised concerns about online dating scams or cat fishing through these tools, as according to the survey, 66 percent of adults have interacted with a stranger after being approached, including through Facebook Messenger ( 39 percent) and Instagram (33 percent) are the most popular platforms, while 51 percent admit they have been catfished.
