Lander Vikram of India’s lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 will land on the South Pole of the Moon at 6:04 pm today. The ramp will then open and the Pragyan rover will land on the lunar surface. The Vikram lander will take a photo of Pragyan and Vikram’s Pragyan.

These images will be sent to Earth. If India succeeds in its mission, it will be the first country to do so.

ISRO Chairman S Somnath had said about Vikram’s landing on August 9 – ‘If everything fails, if all sensors fail, nothing works, still it (Vikram) will land, provided the algorithm Work properly. We have also ensured that even if Vikram’s two engines fail this time, it will be capable of landing.

The live event of the landing will begin at 5:20 p.m. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend this event. Currently he is in South Africa so joining virtually. Along with this, for the success of the mission, Havan is being conducted at different places not only in the country but also abroad.
