CES 2022: Lenovo launches 12th generation ThinkBook laptops and desktops

Lenovo has updated its ThinkBook laptop series at the world’s biggest technology show CES 2022. The company has launched new models. These include Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3, ThinkBook 13x Gen 2, ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+ and ThinkBook 16 Gen 4. The company has also launched three new desktop PCs under the ‘ThinkCentre neo’ portfolio. These include ThinkCentre neo 7t, ThinkCentre neo 50s and ThinkCentre neo 3a 24. All of them run on 12th generation Intel Core processors. The company has also launched the ThinkBook Wireless Multi-Device Charging Mat to support the launch of the ThinkBook 13x Gen 2 and other Qi based devices.

Price and availability of new laptops

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 Its price is $ 1,399 (approximately Rs. 1,04,000). It will be on sale from May. ThinkBook 13x Gen 2 It is priced at $1,099 (approximately Rs 81,600). It will be available from April. At the same time, the price of ThinkBook Wireless Multi-Device Charging Mat is $ 199 (approximately Rs 14,800). This bikini will debut in April. ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+ And ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+ Prices are $839 (approximately Rs 62,300) and $859 (approximately Rs 63,800) respectively. These will also be available from April. The company has not disclosed the price and availability for other countries including India.

Specifications of Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3

This laptop is equipped with 12th generation Intel Core ‘Elder Lake’ processor with Intel Iris XE graphics. The laptop offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. A 17.3-inch HD + (800×1,280 pixels) IPS LCD display has been given, which has 120Hz refresh. There is another 8-inch LCD touch display in this laptop, which also supports the stylus.

Specifications of Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 2

This laptop is also equipped with 12th generation Elder Lake processor with Intel Iris XE graphics. The laptop supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It has up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage via dual slots. This laptop has a 13.3-inch WQXGA display. Fingerprint scanner is also given in its power button.

Specifications of Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+, ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+

Both the laptops are equipped with 12th generation Intel Core ‘Elder Lake’ processor. These can be had with Intel Integrated Graphics or Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 Discrete Graphics. These laptops get up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+ sports a 14-inch 2.8K display with 90Hz refresh rate. At the same time, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+ has a 16-inch 2.5K display. It has 120Hz refresh rate and 350 nits brightness.

New Lenovo PC Prices and Availability

Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s is priced at $799 (approximately Rs. 59,400). It will be available from March 2022, while the ThinkCentre neo 30a 24 is priced at $1,069 (approximately Rs 79,400) and will be available from March 2022. The price of the ThinkCentre neo 70t has not been disclosed.
