The matriculation examination of Bihar School Examination Board is starting from Tuesday. The exam will end on 22 February. During this, 70,930 candidates will appear in the matriculation examination in Patna. For this, 71 centers have been set up. In this, 37,395 girl students and 33,535 boys will be included. In the first shift examination, 36,112 candidates will appear, in which 18,987 girls and 17,125 boys will appear. At the same time, 34,818 candidates will appear in the second shift exam, in which 18,408 girls and 16,410 boys will be included.

Women security personnel will also be present

Chairman of Bihar School Examination Committee, Anand Kishore said that in order to organize the matriculation annual examination 2023, four model examination centers have been set up in all the districts, where only girl students will appear in the examination. All the security personnel including the Deputy Central Superintendent, Magistrate, Inspector at these centers will also remain women. Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bankipur, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar, Kamla Nehru Girls High School Yarpur and Government Girls High School Gardnibagh have been made model centers in Patna.

If there is a discrepancy in the admit card, the identity card will have to be taken to the center

Anand Kishore said that the candidates whose photo has been wrong in their admit card. They have been allowed to appear in the examination. If there is a discrepancy in the photo of the admit card or if someone else’s photo is printed, then the students will have to reach the examination center with the identity card. Students come to the examination center with Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, driving license or bank passbook with photo. Along with this, the photocopy of the identity card will have to be attested by the gazetted officer and submitted at the examination center. The candidate will have to appear in person with the original identity card. He said that the Central Superintendent will allow him to appear in the examination by matching his face. Only after this OMR sheet and dataless answer book will be made available to the student. If the admit card of any candidate has been lost, or has been left at home by mistake, in such a situation, he will be allowed to appear in the examination after identifying him from the scanned photo in the attendance sheet and verifying it from the roll sheet.

Divyang students will get the facility of scribe

Action will be taken at the District Education Officer level to provide the facility of scribe for the disabled candidates. Divyang candidates will be given extra time of 20 minutes per hour. Along with this, the board has given a separate time of 15 minutes to the students for reading the question paper and for other works. On the first day, the first shift exam in Maths subject will start at 9:30 am. OMR sheet will be taken in Science exam at 11 am. After this the exam will end at 12:45. At the same time, the second shift exam will start at 2 pm. OMR for this will be taken at 3:30 pm. Whereas, the exam will end at 5:15 pm.

Hand watch only, issued unique ID

Anand Kishore said that like the Inter Exam 2023, students have been issued a unique ID in matriculation as well, which is mentioned in their admit card. Wearing smart watch, magnet watch is not allowed in the examination hall. You can enter the examination hall only by wearing a watch with needle in the examination.

One speculum for every 25 candidates

For visually challenged candidates, on February 14, in the first shift, instead of Maths, Home Science exam will be taken. On the other hand, in the first shift of February 15, music exam will be taken instead of science. The examination of the remaining subjects will be taken in the second shift on the scheduled dates. Students will be checked twice at the time of entry at the examination center. One speculum has been arranged for every 25 candidates. In matriculation exam 2023, question papers will be in 10 sets, whose set code will be from A to J. Roll code wise, subject wise, shift wise list of candidates appearing in the examination has been sent to all the districts. Candidates will be given answer books containing data and OMR answer sheets in the examination.
