Bollywood film Yaariyan 2 song 'Sahure Ghar', SGPC takes strict notice: Video

The first song of the film Yaariyan 2 ‘Sahure Ghar’ has been released. In this song, Divya Khosla Kumar, Pearl V Puri, Meezan Jaffrey have played the lead roles. In this Bollywood song, the religious sentiments of Sikhs have been hurt. In the song, the actor is filming the song without a turban, wearing a kirpan around his neck and a bracelet in his hand, and the lyrics of the song are also amazing.
SGPC has taken strict notice of this song. They said that we strongly object to these visuals filmed in the song ‘Saure Ghar’ of the movie ‘Yaariyan 2’ directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.

@SapruAndRao as Actor Sikh Kakkar (Symbol of Sikhism) wearing Kirpan is seen in a very objectionable manner which is not acceptable. This has greatly hurt the religious sentiments of the Sikh community across the world. Only a Sikh has the right to wear a Kirpan according to the Akal Takht Sahib’s non-Sikh code of conduct and the rights given by the Constitution of India. This video song is officially public on @YouTube’s channel @TSeries, which should remove it with immediate effect. If any other platform is used to publish this video song containing the said objectionable scenes then it should also be removed. We are immediately raising this objection with the government and digital platforms through all channels.

We request @MIB_India and @GoI_MeitY to ensure that this objectionable video or any such objectionable scene from the said film is not cleared for release by the Censor Board of Film Certification. @prasoonjoshi_. If the videos are not removed from public view, we will initiate legal action as per law for hurting the religious sentiments of minority Sikh community.
