BMW Motorrad is celebrating its 100th anniversary. BMW Motorrad India has been providing people with great vehicles through innovative models for over 100 years. The vehicle manufacturer company has launched two limited variant models to celebrate this. Two of these bikes are RnineT 100 Years and R18 100 Years. It is said to be part of BMW Motorrad’s celebration of 100 years since the launch of its first model – the BMW R 32 which includes many parts from BMW Motorrad’s custom-made division Option 719. The bike gets a bench seat in a dual-tone color combination. Talking about the price of the bike, the price is Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). As part of the 100 year package, the bike gets chrome plated tank and cosmetic updates, front wheel covers and many other cool features.
Know about the powerful engine of the bike-
The BMW R 18, on the other hand, is a cruiser powered by an 1800 cc air/oil-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine that produces 91 hp and 158 Nm of torque. The weight of this bike is 345 kg and its clock speed is said to be 180 km per hour. The bike also gets chrome finishing along with black color painted wheel covers.

BMW Motorrad is the motorcycle brand of BMW, part of its Corporate and Brand Development division. It has started production of motorcycles since 1923. The company began as an aircraft engine manufacturer in the early 20th century and during World War I. BMW produced its first motorcycle in 1923, the R32, which featured a flat-twin boxer engine. BMW Motorrad still uses the flat-twin boxer configuration, but now manufactures motorcycles with a variety of engine configurations.
