This film was earlier offered to many big stars of Bollywood, but all of them turned it down.
The film we are talking about is 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' released in the year 2013, which is based on the Indian athlete Milkha Singh. Actor and director Farhan Akhtar played the role of Milkha Singh in this film. However, some other actors were also offered this film before him. The director of the film Rakesh Omprakash Mehra has told about this in his book 'The Stranger in the Mirror'.
These actors rejected the film
This film was earlier offered to Hrithik Roshan but he could not do this film due to his busyness with 'Krrish 3'. After this, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra approached Aamir Khan for this but he refused saying that this film is not for him. Later this film was offered to Ranveer Singh but he too could not be a part of it. Talking about it at an award ceremony, Akshay Kumar had said that he regretted saying 'no' to this film. He could not do this film as he was busy with 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Again'.
Finally the film approached Farhan and after just 15 minutes of narration, he agreed for it. There was a lot of craze about this film after its release. According to the report, this film earned Rs 169.96 crore worldwide.
