Big relief to Brij Bhushan in sexual harassment case

Wrestlers Sexual Harassment Case: Former WFI presidents Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar appeared in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court on charges of sexual harassment of women wrestlers. Both the accused filed an application for anticipatory bail in the court, following which the court granted bail to both on a personal bond of Rs 25,000. Along with this, the court has ordered to go to the High Court on the request of Brij Bhushan’s lawyer to stop the media reporting in this case.

Delhi’s Rose Avenue court has granted interim bail to BJP MPs Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar in the case of alleged sexual harassment of wrestlers. Let it be said that earlier the charge sheet against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was presented in the court by the Delhi Police, in which the police also clarified the reason for not arresting him till now.

Delhi Police opposed the bail

Brijbhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar were granted interim bail for two days by the court, which was extended by one more day after the plea of the counsel. Along with this, Brij Bhushan’s bail was opposed by the Delhi Police. Prosecutor Atul Srivastava said they could influence witnesses. Now the next hearing of this matter will be held on July 20.
