Punjab Police is constantly cracking down on drug traffickers. Batala police has seized property worth lakhs of rupees by taking strict action against drug traffickers. The police have seized the property of the smuggler worth about 31 lakh 44 thousand 850 rupees. SHO Sukhjinder Singh of Sadar police station said that a special operation is being conducted against drug traffickers under the leadership of DGP Gaurav Yadav, SSP Ashwini Gotial and DSP Khushbir Kaur.
The SHO said that the police had registered a case against a drug smuggler in Sadar police station in 2023. On which the police have recovered a huge amount of heroin from the smuggler in a major operation. Now the police have completed the entire operation and seized the property worth lakhs of rupees from the said smuggler. He said under the campaign, drug traffickers will not be spared under any circumstances and strict action will be taken against them.
The police of Thana Sadar has taken a major action against a drug smuggler in a case. He warned the drug traffickers that they should stop the drug business completely, otherwise strict action will be taken against them. He said that the police is fully committed to make the state drug free and people should also come forward and cooperate with the police.
