Big operation of Jalandhar police, 3 accused who carried out more than 20 incidents arrested

Acting on the guidelines of the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar police have arrested three robbers who robbed more than 20 robberies in Bolero vehicles. Even before this, there have been many incidents of looting in the city. The accused have been identified as Gursharan Singh alias Golu son of Tirlok Singh resident of village Varyana, Sunil Kumar alias Shilu son of Somal Lal resident of village Varyana and Lovepreet Singh alias Love son of Somal Lal resident of village Varyana.

DCP Investigation Harvinder Singh Virk said that under the supervision of ADCP Investigation Bhupinder Singh and ACP Detective Paramjit Singh, Harvinder Singh's team in charge of the crime branch has recovered Bolero vehicle PB 08 EG 8147 from the possession of the accused and traced 20 incidents.

Officials said that the police had cordoned off the new vegetable market near Nagara. Meanwhile, they received secret information that the accused were roaming near Shiv Nagar Gate to sell mobile phones in a white Bolero car, from which sharp weapons and stolen mobiles could be recovered.

Meanwhile, on the basis of secret information, the police team set up a blockade near Shiv Nagar Gate. Seeing the blockade, the accused slowed down the vehicle and tried to escape. Meanwhile, the accused also got injured while running away. The police have arrested the accused. 15 mobile phones and a Bolero vehicle have been recovered from the possession of the accused.

The accused have been admitted to Civil Hospital for treatment in injured condition. Police said that one accused has escaped from the spot, while three have been arrested. Two of them are brothers. Police said that during interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that 30-year-old Gursharan Singh is married and has two children.

The police said that Gursharan Singh is a 10th passer. 25 years old Lovepreet is 8th pass. He works as a welder, while 27-year-old Sunil Kumar is a 10th passer. He works as a truck driver. All these three are drug addicts. The accused have committed 20 incidents so far.
