The BCCI tweeted on Tuesday evening that Colonel Pandya’s corona report was positive. The BCCI tweeted, “Krunal Pandya Corona has been found positive. The second Twenty20 match between India and Sri Lanka has been postponed. The entire squad is currently undergoing RT-PCR testing to detect corona. ” According to the BCCI, the medical team has identified eight people who came in contact with Coronal Pandya who tested positive for corona. All of these are kept in isolation and are being investigated.

The second match between India and Sri Lanka will now be played on July 28 and the third on July 29, the BCCI said on its official website. At present, Team India has taken the lead by winning the first match of the series.
