Aam Aadmi Party councilor and alliance mayoral candidate Kuldeep Tita filed 2 petitions in the High Court. A detailed report was filed today by the Chandigarh administration. After which the court announced its verdict.
The elections of Mayor, Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation were to be held on January 18. In this regard, a notification was also issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh, Vinay Kumar, but on January 16, there was a commotion while withdrawing the nomination papers of Congress mayoral candidate Jasveer Singh Bunty and the election officer appointed by the Deputy Commissioner suddenly fell ill.
