The Reserve Bank of India has released the list of holidays in the month of March. So if you have any work related to the bank, take care of it well in advance, so that you don't have to face any kind of trouble if your important work gets stuck. So let's know when the holiday will be in which states.
There are 14 days of bank holidays in March. The first holiday in March is on 1st March. Mizoram has Chapchar Kut festival on March 1, similarly Holi as well as March 12, the start of Ramzan, is a holiday in many places. These holidays may vary from state to state as the holidays keep local festivals in mind determined are done As per RBI guidelines, banks are closed on Sundays as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. RBI has declared holidays on March 1, 8, 22, 25, 26, 27 and 29. In addition, five Sundays on March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 and the second and fourth Saturdays on March 9 and 23 will be bank holidays.
Banks will be closed for 14 days in March, but online services will continue during this time. If you have bank-related work to do on a holiday, you can avail online services from home. All online and ATM services continue despite bank holidays. Apart from this you can also make digital payments through credit card and debit card.
