Bureau report : The news of the death of three Punjabi youths from abroad within 24 hours has shocked parents in India. After Canada, news of the murder of Punjabi youth Karanveer Singh has come from America. Karanveer Singh, a resident of Patiala’s Samana, went from Talwandi village to California, USA 2 years ago to earn daily bread. But now the news has come that he has been shot and killed. Karanveer Singh was working in the store and some miscreants came and killed him with the intention of robbery.
According to the family, Karanveer Singh has been shot 3 times. As soon as the family heard the news, the whole village became mourning. The wife of the deceased and the sarpanch of the village have demanded from the government that Karan’s wife and son should be sent to America for cremation. Karanveer’s parents have passed away earlier.
50 lakhs was sent to America
Navneet Kaur, wife of deceased Karan, said that Karanveer had sold his land and spent 50 lakhs to go abroad. He went to America and was working for 2 years. Considering the conditions at home, he also used to work overtime. He used to talk to his wife and three sisters through video calls. But since the last 2 days there was no conversation, Karan’s wife called her friends and asked. But the friends did not say anything.
2 days ago, friends had told that Karanveer’s work is going well. After that he hung up and said that he will talk later. But the next day there was no call, then the family called. But the phone of the friends was switched off. After talking to the owner of the store on the phone, he told that something had hit Karan’s stomach, but did not say anything about his death. Then later called and told that he has died. Someone shot him 3 times.
