Asus ROG Phone 7 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC to Launch Next Month

Asus’s ROG Phone 7 smartphone, one of the big electronics companies, will have an international launch next month. The current version of this series was launched in July last year. The company has not given more information about this smartphone. It was recently spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench, indicating its key specifications.

Asus ROG Phone 7 may come with Android 13 pre-installed and it is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It may feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. company Has given information about its launch on April 13 through a Twitter post. However, the specifications have not been revealed in its teaser. Some of its specifications are being revealed by appearing and listing on Geekbench. It can have three variants – Asus ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7D and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. The model number of its Indian variant is ASUS_AI2205_C.

From the listing, it has been informed about Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Its variant to be launched in India will have 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Some specifications about its display have also been leaked. It may feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

Last year the company launched Asus ZenFone 9. Its base variant comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. Apart from this, there are variants with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 256GB storage. It was made available in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, Sunset Red and Starry Blue colours. This smart fone Out of the box is with Android 12.
