Attacking half-centuries from captain Rohit Sharma (74 not out) and Shubman Gill (67 not out) helped India beat Nepal by 10 wickets in their Asia Cup 2023 Group-A match on Monday to enter the Super-Fours stage.

Nepal had given India a target of 231 runs in 50 overs, which was reduced to 145 runs in 23 overs due to rain. However, the rain could not dampen India’s hopes and the Rohit-Gill duo achieved the target in 20.1 overs.

With this victory, the Indian team has reached the Super-4, where they will now face their arch rival Pakistan once again on September 10. This match will be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Apart from this, the Indian team will play the second match of the Super Four on September 12 and the third match on September 15. Both these matches will also be played in Colombo.
