Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that the said policemen have been arrested on the complaint of the complainant Atma Singh, a resident of Sayan Kalan, Ludhiana district.

Giving further information in this regard, the spokesperson said that the said complainant approached the Vigilance Bureau Ludhiana Range and alleged that the said policemen had demanded a bribe of Rs 20,000 to release the motorcycle of his son arrested in the NDPS case, but the deal was fixed at Rs 10,000. has happened

The complainant further said that the said Hauldar has already taken Rs 5,000 as the first installment of bribe from the ASI. The spokesperson further said that the vigilance team of Ludhiana range arrested the said two policemen on the spot after taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 from the complainant in the presence of two government witnesses.

In this regard, a case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against the two accused in Vigilance Bureau police station Ludhiana range and further investigation of the matter is going on.
