Holidays have been announced in all the schools of Punjab. Punjab’s Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains informed that as per the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann, keeping in mind the floods caused by the heavy rains in various districts of Punjab including Himachal Pradesh, the Punjab government has immediately taken into account the security. With effect all government/aided/recognised and private schools in the state are closed with immediate effect today (23rd August 2023) till 26th August 2023 (Saturday).
