Designer Aniksha was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Thursday for allegedly giving a bribe of Rs 1 crore to Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. At the same time, accused Aniksha Jaisinghani has now been sent to police custody till March 21.

Let us tell you that Amruta Fadnavis had filed a complaint against the Mumbai-based designer after receiving threatening calls and messages on her phone. At the same time, Amruta Fadnavis herself accused Aniksha of trying to bribe her with one crore.
Aniksha’s father has also been named in the FIR lodged at the Malabar Hill police station. Police have registered an FIR against Aniksha and her father under Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
