Pro-Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh was spotted in a car while crossing a toll plaza during heavy raids by the Punjab Police. A CCTV footage has surfaced, in which Amritpal can be seen sitting on the front seat of a car with Punjab registration number.
This CCTV footage is from a toll booth plaza in Jalandhar on Saturday, when Amritpal was trying to escape during the police operation. According to sources, when the Punjab Police went to arrest Amritpal Singh, he escaped in his Mercedes car. Meanwhile, he left his car on the way and then changed his clothes in Brezza.
Earlier, Punjab Police had told on Monday that Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh was trying to form a militia called ‘Anandpur Khalsa Fauj’ (AKF). He also said, ‘There is a deep suspicion that the chief of ‘Waris Punjab’ is being given funds by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.
