The US agency alerted the Interpol office in New Delhi about this, which in turn informed the Mumbai Police. Crime Branch officials of Mumbai reached the location of this person living in Jogeshwari. After this it was taken to the Crime Branch office and counseling was done. The officer said that this person had tried to commit suicide earlier also.

After counselling, the man was sent home with his parents. Along with this, he has been advised to undergo psychotherapy.
