19 organizations had jammed the railway track at 17 places. Farmers demand Rs 50 thousand acre compensation
Farmers say that there has been a huge loss of crops due to flood. Many farmers have not been compensated for their losses. Those who have got it are very few. Farmer organizations say that at least 50 thousand rupees per acre compensation has been given to the farmers. Also, the central government should give 50 thousand crores to Punjab for flood damage.
