Bureau Report: A young girl jumped into a canal in Punjab on Friday. The deceased first made a video and posted a story on social media in which she accused her parents of being ‘narrow minded’.
The girl who jumped is 18 years old and is said to be a resident of Faridkot. The girl jumped into the canal at Kotakpura. Currently she was preparing for IELTS. The young girl has accused her family, but at the same time the girl clarified that she is a patient of depression and was taking medicine.
However, the father dismissed the girl’s allegations. The father says that he had no information about this step of his daughter. He was never neglected by the family. An attempt was made to fulfill what the daughter asked for.

After receiving information about the incident, the police searched around the canal on Kotkapur Road. The police have found the young girl’s bag and some belongings near the canal.
