A terrible road accident has happened in Pakistan. At least 17 people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday. The police gave this information. The accident took place near Kohat on the Indus Highway, about 40 km southwest of Peshawar.

According to the police, one person has been injured in this accident and he and the deceased have been taken to the district headquarters hospital. According to the police, the accident happened due to brake failure of the truck. Governor Haji Ghulam Ali and Acting Chief Minister Azam Khan have expressed grief over the incident.

Rescue officer Rehmat Ullah said, “We have shifted all the dead and injured to the hospital in Kohat.”

It is worth mentioning that on Sunday, a passenger bus crashed into a pole and fell from a bridge in Balochistan province, which caught fire and killed 40 people. Such fatal road accidents are common in Pakistan due to poor road infrastructure and disregard for traffic rules.
