Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived at village Ramgarh Sardaran in Ludhiana today.
Where he shared his grief with the family of Agniveer Shaheed Ajay Singh of the village and, fulfilling the promise made by the government, handed over a check of Rs 1 crore to the family as an honorarium.
On this occasion, he also announced to name the village school after Shaheed Ajay Singh, and to give a government job to one of the family members of the Shaheed.
