Staff Reporter, Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) chief advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has clarified that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has no right to amend any section of the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925. He clarified that only the central government has the right to amend. The government can make it a law by passing a bill in the parliament in this regard. He said that the Chief Minister should not try to put his hand in the burning fire, otherwise his hand will get burnt in the fire. If they try to play the game, they themselves will be responsible for the consequences. So they should not try to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of Punjab.
