Punjab News: The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan has improved the financial conditions of Punjab immensely in its one year tenure. By providing thousands of government jobs to the unemployed of the state, by providing heavy subsidy on electricity to the common people and by taking many other pro-people decisions, the budget of the Punjab government is running in profit. These words were expressed by Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan. They reached Nihal Singh Wala’s village Ransinh Kalan on Saturday. Here he inaugurated Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh Library where MLA Nihal Singh Wala Manjit Singh Bilaspur was also present with him.

On the occasion of the inauguration of this state-of-the-art library prepared at a cost of lakhs of rupees with the help of Gram Panchayat Ransinh Kalan and the villagers, Kultar Singh Sandhawan said that such libraries should be established in every village. Where the villagers, women, elders and students can get good readable and proper guidance material and here the villagers can spend some time with each other which also strengthens the mutual bond. Sandhavan approved an early grant of Rs 2 lakh 11 thousand to the Panchayat to keep more good books in the library.

In his statement, he said that it is the dream of the Punjab government that more and more youths of the state should be able to get good employment and the government is continuously working in this direction, the results of which will soon come before the youth. He gave a special message to the youth and said that he knows that the Sikh community is fearless as well as a passionate community. Today’s Sikh youth needs to be aware of today’s conditions. He encouraged the youth to follow the guidance of Sri Guru Granth Sahib instead of following anyone’s provocative speeches.

The village panchayat brought to the attention of the speaker a demand regarding Guru Gobind Singh Marg, which extends from Anandpur Sahib to Damdama Sahib for 570 km, and said that it was built by his family elders, which is the heritage of the Sikh community. For its maintenance, it needs to be rebuilt and it is also necessary to pay the liquor contracts located on this road. In response to which he said that he will soon discuss this matter in the Vidhan Sabha.
