Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday said his government aims to make Karnataka the skill capital of India and a trillion dollar economy by 2032 on the strength of “talent, technology and determination”.
He said the state has set ambitious targets of skilling 30 lakh youth by 2032, increasing women enrollment in ITIs to 33 per cent, doubling skilling capacity at the district level and strengthening global placement linkages through International Migration Centre-Karnataka (IMC-K). Siddaramaiah said this at the inauguration of the Bengaluru Skills Summit 2025 here.
