Sararanjan Assembly Seat: Will RJD and Jansuraj Party be able to break JDU’s stronghold, triangular contest

Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar in the first week of November. Elections are to be held in the state in two phases on November 6 and November 11. For this, all the political parties are busy in preparations. In such a situation, all the parties are keeping an eye on the seats in Bihar and Sarai Ranjan seat is one of them. Which is a block 13 km away from Samastipur district of North Bihar. Voting on this seat is to be held in the first phase i.e. on 06 November. This seat comes under Samastipur district of Bihar. This seat has long been the stronghold of JDU and its leader Vijay Kumar Choudhary, who is also currently a minister in the Bihar government.
In the last few years, a tough political contest has been witnessed in Sarayaranjan assembly constituency. This seat has been Chaudhary’s stronghold since 2010. Considering his performance in the last few years, JDU has once again expressed confidence in Vijay Kumar Choudhary. Whereas Rashtriya Janata Dal has fielded Arbind Kumar Sahni and Jan Suraj Party has fielded Sajan Kumar Mishra. In such a situation, there is a possibility of tough competition on this seat.

JDU candidate

Vijay Kumar Choudhary started his political innings from Dalsinghsarai in the by-election of 1982. Then in the year 1985 and 1990, he became MLA on Congress ticket and in the year 1990, he was appointed Deputy Whip of the Congress Party. He was considered close to the then CM Jagannath Mishra. Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, considered close to Nitish Kumar, is also known for his solid political experience and calm nature. He is preparing to contest from Sarayaranjan assembly seat for the fourth consecutive time.

RJD candidate

In the 2020 assembly elections, RJD’s Arvind Kumar Sahni had to face defeat from this seat. In such a situation, this time Arvind Kumar Sahni is going to face tough competition from this seat. In such a situation, it will be very interesting to see whether RJD candidate Arvind Kumar Sahni will be able to win from this seat.

Jansuraj Party Candidate

Whereas Prashant Kishor’s party Jansuraj Party has expressed confidence in Sajan Kumar Mishra from this seat. He has played a long political innings spanning three decades. Which has been full of ups and downs. In such a situation, a tough contest can be seen from this seat between JDU, RJD and Jansuraj Party. In such a situation, it will be very interesting to see which candidate will the public trust on this seat.
