Mokama Assembly Seat: Tough contest on Mokama Assembly seat, will Veena Devi be able to break Anant Singh’s impenetrable fort?

Voting for the assembly elections in Bihar is to be held in two phases i.e. on 6th November and 11th November. Mokama assembly seat is an important constituency in these elections. He has been winning this seat since 2005. This time i.e. in the 2025 assembly elections, JDU’s Anant Singh from Mokama, Veena Devi from Rashtriya Janata Dal, Priyadarshi Piyush from Jansuraj Party, Dr. Rajesh Kumar from Aam Aadmi Party and Anil Kumar from independent have come to try their luck in the election field.

JDU candidate

Mokama assembly seat has been the stronghold of Anant Singh. Anant Singh had won this seat as a JDU leader in the 2005 and 2010 assembly elections. Then in the year 2015, he contested the elections as an independent candidate and won. Then in the year 2020, he joined RJD and won from Mokama. After this, he was disqualified from the Bihar Assembly after being convicted in a case. However, once again Anant Singh has returned to JDU and the party has again made him its candidate from Mokama assembly seat.

RJD candidate

Whereas RJD has fielded Veena Devi from Mokama assembly seat. Let us tell you that Veena Devi is ninth pass. She is an Indian politician and the current MP from Vaishali. Apart from this, she is a former member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Gaighat constituency.

Jansuraj Party Candidate

Jansuraj Party has fielded Piyush Priyadarshi from Mokama Assembly seat. It is believed that Piyush Priyadarshi is getting huge support from the people of Mokama assembly constituency. In such a situation, this election battle is taking an interesting turn.
