Janashakti Janata Dal Candidate
RJD has been dominating the Mahua assembly seat for a long time. Except for the year 2010, RJD has won this seat in all the elections held since 2000. Tej Pratap Yadav himself became MLA in the 2015 elections. In such a situation, once again he has contested the elections from this seat. But this time the picture is quite different. A crowd gathered in his support during the nomination, but no family member was seen with him. In such a situation, Tej Pratap Yadav is contesting against the candidate of his father’s party.
RJD candidate
RJD candidate and sitting MLA Mukesh Roshan is on this seat. There is a good number of Yadav voters in Mahua. In such a situation, Mukesh Roshan is constantly trying to convince the voters that if he wants to see Tejashwi Yadav becoming the CM. So the voters’ votes should go in his favor.
LJP (Ram Vilas) candidate
The ruling NDA is represented by Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) from Mahua seat. Despite being a part of Chirag Paswan’s parliamentary constituency, LJP (Ram Vilas) candidate Sanjay Kumar Singh had lost his deposit in the last elections. Sanjay Singh comes from the Rajput class and is considered to have a good hold on the votes of the upper castes. In such a situation, Sanjay Singh can emerge as ‘Chuphe Rustam’ in the four-cornered contest.
