An 8th standard student of a private school in Giaspura area of ​​Ludhiana jumped from the third floor 6 days ago. The student suffered a fractured hip and spine. The family members of the student Sonia (fictitious) staged a protest against the school administration with the support of social workers and local residents.

Social workers say that the student’s family came to them with a complaint. He had told that about 6 days ago, the school administration paraded the girl by writing ‘thief’ on her forehead and arms. Due to this, the student came under mental pressure. Due to stress, he jumped from the third floor of the school. After this he was taken to the hospital.

He said that the school administration had given the family about one and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of the student, but after that they did not take care of the student. Social workers Gurpreet and Lucky Kapoor attended the protest. The police of Thana Daba was also informed.
