6 girl students of the district in merit

Punjab School Education Board has released the 12th result. Candidates can check their result through the official website pseb.ac.in. This time the result has been won by the daughters. Sujan Kaur of Dasmesh Convent Senior Secondary School Sardulgarh Mansa School has topped the entire Punjab by securing 500 out of 500 marks i.e. 100 percent marks.

343 students have made it to the merit list in this year’s 12th result of the Punjab School Education Board. This year 6 students from the district have appeared in the merit list. Ekta, a commerce student of SP Prime School, secured 492 out of 500 marks with 98.40% marks and secured 8th position in the state and 1st position in the district. Last year’s topper Harleen was also from Commerce stream and also scored 98.40% marks. Amar Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan Sarkar Girls Lead. School Nehru Garden Khushi has secured 10th position in the state and second position in the district by securing 490 marks with 98 percent marks.

Sejal Preet Kaur of Government Girls Senior Secondary School Mehtpur stood 13th in the state and third in the district with 97.40 percent marks, Himankshi of SP Prime School stood fourth in the district with 97.20 percent marks and H.M.V. Tanisha Ghai and Ritika of Collegiate School stood third. The student of SP Prime School secured 97 percent marks with a combined total of 485 marks and bagged the fifth position in the district. The pass percentage of total candidates this year is 92.47. This year 93.97 percent students have passed in the district.

This time 274378 out of total 296709 candidates took the exam. The pass percentage of girls is 95.14 percent and that of boys is 90.25 percent. Transgender pass percentage is 100 percent. While the overall pass percentage in 12th results in 2022 was 96.96. While the pass percentage of girls was 97.78. Then 90% transgender students cleared the exam. A total of 3,01,700 students took the exam. This time, Jalandhar has been at the 8th position in the state.
